Results Update for May

The Month of May is almost done - and thank the Golfing Gods. Was it not just a glorious Sunny Month (NOT). The Rain did fall and the rough did it grow! Oh yes, the infamous MOG rough that was missing in April has now come to fore, what horrors it does behold! Balls lost just off the fairway, buried lies leaving all but a pitching wedge to recover!

Seniors Update - 28 May

Seniors suffered their first defeat away to Three Rivers on 2nd May having
lost 5 and 3 an exact reversal of the score when they came here.
Soon back to winning ways beating Chingford at home on 9th May 5 and 3 and beating The Hertfordshire away on 24th May also 5 and 3.

Congratulations to Ron Heaps and Bruce Coe who won the Gosfield Lakes pairs better ball with 50 points 4points better than anybody else!!!!!!!!!!

The Lady Captain's Cup - 2007

There was Drizzle, there was a glimpse of the Sun, but most of all there was heavy rain. But hats off to the ladies section, when many of the Men would have thrown the clubs out of the pram and walked in, the ladies stuck it out!
